Latrell Mitchell, a Taree local boy and Roosters super star player, visited Manning Gardens PS on Friday 2 March 2018. Latrell, a great Aboriginal role model and sports advocate, spent over two hours engaging with students from our support unit and mainstream classes. Latrell gave his time for free and made the dreams of many boys and girls come true. He played basketball with our students and never turned a photo opportunity. Latrell is one of the bright new NRL stars from country NSW who is a true role model for all Aboriginal boys and girls. Thank you Latrell!
